Telstra Dome
Situated in the Docklands precinct just west of Melbourne’s central business district, Telstra Dome is well served by public transport. The ground is next to Spencer Street railway station – the main hub for country trains and part of the City Loop network. Two pedestrian walkways have been built across the rail yards, giving fans direct access from Spencer Street. Colonial Stadium became Telstra Dome in October 2002 when Telstra purchased the naming rights for the stadium, as well as for Stadium Australia which is now known as Telstra Stadium.
