Cunningham Pier, Geelong
First opened in the mid 1950s as Railway Pier.
From at least the 1920s until the 1950s the main use of the pier was inbound coal traffic, until it was relocated to a redeveloped Corio Quay. Export wool was the other primary traffic on the pier.
Disused by the 1980s, currently used by Smorgy's restaurant.
Its also a very popular for family fishing spot. Fish species caught here includes: flatheads, snappers, breams, garfish, mullets, tailors, etc
